This is a free weight Half Power rack mounted to a Deadlift platform. Frame construction is 11 gage steel tubing all Mig welded and ground smooth. Rack with 48?, fits standard Olympic Power bars. All open-end tubes are steel capped, welded, and ground smooth. Half rack consists of (4) vertical uprights. Rear uprights consist of a 2x3 11-gage frame for plate and lifting belt storage. Front uprights, (2) are designated for the squat area Attached to the upright is a self-locking L-slot Bar Catch (or hooks) Hooks are removed by lifting up 2? and then pulled out in a horizontal motion to release from the L-slot plate and from around the upright. Put on in the reverse manner. Uprights in the lifting area allows for over head lift clearance of approx. 9?. Rack design and upright spacing allows for the use of the 0-85 degree bench in all positions with full range of movement. All uprights are braced and secured to each other to form a complete stable self-supporting racking system. Rear uprights have weight storage horns (pins) covered in plastic and accessible from the side of the rack. Racks have (2) sockets for Olympic bars to be stored in a vertical position at rear of the rack. Platform: This is a free weight floor protector deck. Half Rack tubes are bolted into the sub frame of the platform, and then the wood and the rubber fit around the uprights for a clean finished look. This platform has 2x2 & 4x2 tubing under frame, which are built in (2) 4?x 8? halves and bolted together. Impact areas are double steel reinforced to support wood base from impact blowout.
