Updated for 2005, Summit Platinum D6 gas grills features a stainless steel hood with a center mounted thermometer, a robot-welded steel frame, and an enclosed cart with stainless steel doors and side and rear panels. Other features includes one thermoset work surface and two swing-up tables with stainless steel inserts, four molded tool holders, extra large control knobs, a fuel gauge, locking casters and crackproof all-weather wheels. The cooking system, rated at 57,600 BTU's, includes six seamless stainless steel burners with infinite control settings and an electronic Crossover ignition system. The cooking grates are made of 3/8" diameter stainless steel rods and the Flavorizer bars are made of heavy duty stainless steel. The cooking area measures 902 sq. inches.
