There is NO NEED for a filling spout with the Fill-Flush®. Most people appreciate the benefits that a relaxing whirlpool bath provides. Some may be apprehensive to take the plunge, however, considering that soap residue, body oils, and water deposits can build up in the plumbing system and lead to the growth of bacteria. MTI Whirlpools has developed a solution to dirty pipes with the patented Fill-Flush® system, ensuring a safe, clean bath every time. The design of the Fill-Flush® system allows water to fill into the tub through the jets, providing a fresh supply of water that is circulated through the plumbing and air lines each time the tub is filled. There is no filling spout with the optional Fill-Flush® system, leaving more space in the bath than conventional whirlpools. The Fill-Flush® system also allows you the luxury of using bubble bath, aromatherapy oils and bath salts. After enjoying a relaxing whirlpool bath, drain the tub. Then close off the jets by either pushing them in or turning the jetescutcheons. Add cleaning solution in the detergent dispenser, turn on the water and run for 5 minutes. Special check valves allow the cleaning solution to circulate through the internal plumbing system, quickly flushing any residue out of the tub's suction and down the drain. The Fill-Flush® system also saves you water and time because it requires five gallons of water and five minutes to thoroughly clean the entire plumbing system of a standard whirlpool, including the water line, air line, valves, jets, and pump. In contrast, competitor whirlpools use 80 gallons of water and thirty minutes of operating time, and only half the system is cleaned - build up in the air line is never cleaned. MTI is the only company to provide sparkling clean bathing every time the whirlpool bath is used, demonstrating that its patented Fill-Flush® system is the world's first and only self-cleaning system for whirlpool baths.
