The daylight sensor is mounted to the front grill of the vehicle. How It Works: Lights On! takes care of an important safety feature, turning your headlights and parking lights automatically on when it gets dark or visibility is reduced. The Lights On! Daylight sensor automatically monitors the ambient light. When darkness falls, the daylight sensor switches the headlights and parking lights on making the vehicle morevisible to oncoming traffic. The lights remain on until the daylight sensor registers enough light to switch the headlights off.
