Now you can make up your very own Nemo story! The playing cards will help – each one contains a noun, adjective or verb. Turn over a card from your pile and use that word to makea sentence. For example, your card says Marlin. So you say, “Once upon a time there was a clownfish named Marlin.” The next player turns over their card. Deep.. He lived deep in the ocean with his son, Nemo. Players earn points for each card played, and the game continues until all the players’ cards have been used. The cards are color coded according to nouns, adjectives, and verbs, so that children will learn they are the building blocks for sentences.
