The object of this game is to balance the “Tipsy, the Scale” by playing the cards you are dealt. If Tipsy has a 5 lb. Cobra in one hand and a 1 lb. Steak in the other, you can place a 4 lb tennis racket on top of the Steak to balance the scale. Or how about placing a 4 lb. Frenchhorn plus a 2 lb. Basketball over the Cobra, and a 6 lb. Ice skate plus a 4 lb. Tortoise over the Steak to balance the scale at 11! This game is sure to sharpen math skills and teach the concepts of weight and balance. When players balance the scale, all the cards on the scale go into their score pile, and the player with the most points, wins! Special “Balancing Act” cards will balance the scale for you, but beware drawing a dreaded “Tip the Scale” Card!
