Daytime Pads Each GladRags Cotton Menstrual Pad consists of 1 holder and 2 liners. You slip the two liners into the holder. When you snap it around your panties, the smooth unseamed side goes next to your body. This versatile 3-part design serves several purposes: All together the layers make a thick, absorbent pad which then separates for thorough washing and quick drying. The insertable liners allow you to customize the pad for your flow. Use one liner and it's a mini pad, use two and it's a maxi, and the holder alone works as panty liner. If you have an especially heavy flow you can order an extra liner and use 3 (however, the pads are so absorbent we actually sell more extra holders because many women find they only need one liner much of the time.) Menstrual cycles vary greatly from woman to woman. Most women use 6 to 12 day pads and 1 to 3 night pads. It all depends on your flow and how often you do laundry. Change your GladRags as often as you would change a disposable, and remember - a pad consists of the holder and 2 liners, and so you must change the whole thing, not just the liners. With all of our pads you will enjoy and experience the comfort of cotton. The soft flannel conforms to your body without the twisting and bunching up that can happen with disposables. This is a potent 5 to 1 powdered extract, meaning that one gram of extract is equal in potency to 5 grams of herb.
