Gluco Pro™ 2X is intended to provide nutritive support for normal, healthy joint function. This twice daily formula provides a full 1,500 mg of Glucosamine and 1,200 mg of chondroitin per serving. Glucosamine-Chondroitin is a combination suggested to maintain structural integrity of joints, blood vessels and connective tissue, stimulate healing and provide relief of symptoms associated with osteoporosis, arthritis, osteoarthritis, joint inflammation, bursitis, tendonitis, cartilage damage, connective tissue, joint, and bone problems. There is even speculation that it could play a preemptive role, eliminating the development of osteoarthritis. Glucosamine stimulates the production of glycosaminoglycans and proteoglycans, two essential building blocks of cartilage. This appears to 'jump start' the body’s own natural production of Glucosamine. Chondroitin Sulfate (CSA) is from highly purified Bovine Trachea Cartilage. This special process yields 95% pure chondroitin sulfate. Chondroitin sulfate is a major constituent of cartilage, providing structure, holding water and nutrients, and allowing other molecules to move through cartilage. In degenerativejoint disease, such as osteoarthritis, there is a loss of chondroitin sulfate as the cartilage erodes. Chondroitin sulfate may promote healing of bone.
