DiST® 5- Waterproof EC/TDS/°C/°F Tester with Replaceable Electrode Dual Level Display Battery Level Indicator Replaceable Graphite Electrode Rugged, Floating Waterproof Casing Temperature in °C and °F Automatic Temperature Compensation (ATC) Adjustable Temperature Coefficient Factor Since Hanna Instruments first introduced DiST® (Dissolved Solids Tester) in 1986, the measurement of Conductivity and Total Dissolved Solids has never been easier. The DiST®'s ease-of-use in combination with its affordability has made it the standard in EC and TDS measurement. The new waterproof (they even float!) DiST® 5 testers have a dual-level LCD that displays EC or TDS and °C or °F. At startup, DiST® 5performs a self check then displays the remaining battery level to assure proper working condition. Thesetesters also feature a stability indicator and hold feature to prompt the user when to take the reading & freeze the display for easy and accurate recording. These new EC / TDS / Temperature meters have a stainless steel temperature probe for faster and more precise temperature measurement. Calibration and temperature compensation is automatic These advanced EC / TDS / °C / °F meters feature graphite electrodes to provide the greatest possible accuracy as they cannot be contaminated by salt deposits in the solution and when the electrode finally is exhausted simply insert a new electrode cartridge! DiST® 5 is supplied complete with EC/TDS Probe (HI 73311), 4 x 1.5V batteries and electrode replacement tool (HI 73128).
