This is Starwest's nitrogen-flushed double wall silverfoil pack. These are the 'poppy seeds’ called for in all the bread and cake recipes. Great baked on bread or into cake. Although the word has become taboo, 'poppy seeds' are opium poppy seeds, the seeds of papaver somniferum. These are viable seeds that will sprout beautiful poppies, should you care to adorn your garden, or just have chewy small sprouts for your salad. Then again, you may just prefer to experiment with the innumerable cake and bread recipes that call for poppy seeds. The number of strudel, croissant, dumpling and jam recipes that call for poppy seeds is absolutely mouthwatering. Ground poppy seeds are a common thickening agent in Indian cooking, used for spicy sauces. Japanese shichimi togarashi, an all-purpose spice mix, takes advantage ofpoppy seeds' nutty flavor. |

Before this product was introduced in the U.S., several retail stores in Los Angeles, Florida, New York, Tennessee and Northern California ran extensive tests using it and found the results to be superb in bothhard and soft water conditions. Super Bloom is sold in sets, A & B, because you always use them together, in equal parts. Super Bloom A & B delivers an instant source of nutrient uptake, as we as the proper trace elements (micros) to gain large multiple bloom sets. Used as directed, Super Bloom will not burn plants and will increase your yields dramatically. Super Bloom A & B is pH balanced to achieve 6.0 to 6.5, with little to no pH up/down required. Some applications may vary. Super Bloom A - N.P.K. 2.0-0-2.0 Super Bloom B - N.P.K. 1.0-0.6-2.0 Bloom A contains the calcium nitrate, which, if simultaneously mixed in water with the micro nutrients contained in B, would precipitate out of the solution and make the product useless. You should first add the A to the water, give it a quick stir, then add the B to the water and mix again. The dilution ratio is approximately 200:1 – that is, 4 teaspoons of Bloom A and 4 teaspoons of Bloom B per gallon of water. That is, each 2 gallon set makes 200 gallons of nutrient solution. |

This is Frontier's nitrogen-flushed double wall silverfoil pack. Some Frontier packs are double wall wax-lined paper. The intensely fragrant leaves are a good base for potpourri. The plant is very aromatic, and its fragrance, like that of roses, was credited with medicinal properties by the Roman scholar Pliny. A known ingredient of the entheogenic kykeon potion along with ergot which was drunk during the Eleusinian Mysteries of ancient Greece. Often considered psychoactive in its own right, this plant interestingly enough has a history of use as a migraine treatment in England. Pennyroyal has toxic effects on the liver, however, and is no longer recommended for internaluse in any form. Great for potpourri. |
