Nutrient film technique (NFT) hydroponic kits from American Hydroponics are complete and user-friendly, quality throughout. They work by trickling a slow moving film (stream) of oxygen rich nutrient down gently sloped, flat bottomed gullies (channels). Plants love it and thrive in this system. NFT Gully is the preferred growing method of commercial lettuce growers in Australia and New Zealand. These kits are built with the same quality components as those commercial installations. (Incidentally, this is the same exact material we use to grow lettuce at our own commercial farm and it works excellent). The NFT Wall Gardenis one of the most space-efficient designs and is perfect for mounting on fences, walls, garages, barns virtually any vertical surface where there is good light. The system includes A.H.'s standard gullies for herbs and lettuce which measure 2''x4''. The gullies have been specially designed with flat bottoms and special ridges for even flow and are made from FDA-approved, 100% recycled HDPE plastic. Each kit includes a galvanized steel table frame with strong injection-molded ABS plastic corners, pre-drilled growing gullies, Oasis root cubes, energy saving submersible pump, feed and drain plumbing manifolds, 4 month supply of nutrients, pH test kit, and complete instructions. Super Bloom is sold in sets, A & B, because you always use them together, in equal parts. Super Bloom A & B delivers an instant source of nutrient uptake, as well as the proper trace elements (micros) to gain large multiple bloom sets. Used as directed, Super Bloom will not burn plants and will increase your yields dramatically. Super Bloom A & B is pH balanced to achieve 6.0 to 6.5, with little to no pH up/down required. Some applications may vary. Super Bloom A - N.P.K. 2.0-0-2.0 Super Bloom B - N.P.K. 1.0-0.6-2.0 Bloom A contains the calcium nitrate, which, if simultaneously mixed in water with the micro nutrients contained in B, would precipitate out of the solution and make the product useless. You should first add the A to the water, give it a quick stir, then add the B to the water and mix again. The dilution ratio is approximately 200:1 – that is, 4 teaspoons of Bloom A and 4 teaspoons of Bloom B per gallon of water. That is, each 2 gallon set makes 200 gallons of nutrient solution. |

This is Plum Flower brand's nitrogen-flushed vacuum pack. Plum Flower is one of the most distinguished herb houses in the world. Sulfur Free, Chlorine Free, Aluminum Phosphate Free. Sulfites are used to give herbs the appearance of freshness. As with dried fruit. un-sulfured herbs look different than those thatare adulterated with preservatives. Herbs that are preservative free are more natural looking and are generally darker. The brightness of the herbs may be appealing, but it indicates the presence of harmful additives. Despite their appearance, unsulfured herbs are more fresh and safer than regular commercially available products. The use of sulfur, chlorine and aluminum phosphate was made unnecessary through the establishment of Plum Flower processing stations in China. Herb harvesters slice and process the herbs fresh, avoiding the need to rehydrate dried herbs later to process. This first step is crucial, as rehydration leads to decomposition and thus the need for preservatives. The herbs are then packed and the packages vacuum-packed, injected with nitrogen, and sealed. The nitrogen process combined with the lack of sulfur treatment inhibits the growth of anaerobic organisms, resulting in safer, higher quality herbs. After opening, store in a cool dry place. The facilities in Lanzhou and Guang Zhou, China, scientifically test each batch of herbs before, during and after the processing to make sure that all the active ingredients are present. Herbs are also tested to ensure that the formulas surpass all FDA guidelines regarding heavy metals. Those herbs exported to the U.S. are voluntarily submitted to the FDA for approval. Finally, batches are regularly sent out for quality control testing in third-party labs to double-ensure that Plum Flower products are 100% free of pharmaceuticals, preservatives and dyes.
