The Sunstream 13''x40'' Multi-Purpose Growing Tray is commonly referred to as the MPT. Commercial growers use it to start their seeds or transfer the seedlings to the main growing unit. The MPT is a lightweight growing tray designed for propagation and light-duty growing. The MPT comes undrilled and has pre-placed positions for fill/drain fittings to make it a fully operational ebb/flow tray. Constructed of strong, flexible ABS plastic that lasts a long time, the MPT was designed with ridges for complete drainage. With numerous uses not limited to hydroponics, the MPT is an extremely versatile tray and makes a perfect companion to any ebb/flow or NFT system. There are somany uses that we had to come up with a Top 10 list of hydroponic uses for the MPT: 1. Seedling starter tray for rockwool or Oasis cubes (holds 2 flats of rockwool or Oasis cubes) 2. Rockwool ebb/flow for 2 or 4'' rockwool cubes (holds one 12'' or two 6'' rockwool slabs perfectly) 3. Gro-rock ebb/flow for herb starts 4. Soaking tray to season rockwool cubes 5. Harvesting tray 6. Use with small net pots as a great ebb flow tray 7. Trickle flow with perlite for mesculun mixes 8. Trickle flow 2'' Oasis cubes for Baby Romaines 9.
