Gluco Pro™ 2X is intended to provide nutritive support for normal, healthy joint function. This twice daily formula provides a full 1,500 mg of Glucosamine and 1,200 mg of chondroitin per serving. Glucosamine-Chondroitin is a combination suggested to maintain structural integrity of joints, blood vessels and connective tissue, stimulate healing and provide relief of symptoms associated with osteoporosis, arthritis, osteoarthritis, joint inflammation, bursitis, tendonitis, cartilage damage, connective tissue, joint, and bone problems. Glucosamine helps provide the building blocks for healthy cartilage and maintain structural integrity of joints and connective tissue.* Glucosamine is a building block for joint fluid, cartilage, tendons, ligaments, membranes and blood vessels.* Primary Use: Supports healthy joint function.* Glucosamine sulfate is produced from shrimp shells, which have esentially the same biochemistry as human cartilage. Glucosamine is not only safe but an active supporter of proteoglycan synthesis (i.e., a producer of cartilage macromolecules consisting of a protein bound to a glucosaminoglycan). There is increasing evidence that Glucosamine does in fact relieve joint pain and inflammation for many arthritis sufferers, and that it may slow progression of the disease. Because of its ability to reduce and--in some cases--completely eliminate the pain of osteoarthritis, some physicians and researchers feel Glucosamine might offer similar benefits for people suffering from rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, spinal disc degeneration, tendinitis, bursitis, and physical injuries to the joints. There is even speculation that it could play a preemptive role, eliminating the development of osteoarthritis. Glucosamine stimulates the production of glycosaminoglycans and proteoglycans, two essential building blocks of cartilage. This appears to 'jump start' the body’s own natural production of Glucosamine. Chondroitin Sulfate (CSA) is from highly purified Bovine Trachea Cartilage. This special process yields 95% pure chondroitin sulfate. Chondroitin sulfate is a major constituent of cartilage, providing structure, holding water and nutrients, and allowing other molecules tomove through cartilage. In degenerative joint disease, such as osteoarthritis, there is a loss of chondroitin sulfate as the cartilage erodes. Chondroitin sulfate may promote healing of bone. Chondroitin sulfate has been shown to relieve symptoms and slow the progression of, or reverse, osteoarthritis. Combining Glucosamine with Chondroitin sulfate has been demonstrated to increase its effectiveness. Glucosamine has been used to treat osteoarthritis in Europe since the 1980s. The Jetgro aero machine is the leading brand in a low cost, high quality aeroponic hydrogarden. Available in 4 sizes and configurations to fit any size space. The Aero machine utilizes a micro hydro-spinner to deliver a highly oxygenated mist of nutrient solution to the bare roots of plants. The plants are grown in net baskets containing a plastic rootguard lid to block out light into the net basket and the nutrient solution. The net basket sits in a hole drilled out in the aero machines lid. The lid contains a knob to allow for easy inspection of the root zone by lifting the lid. The aero 4 and aero 6 lid contains 4 legs to lift the lid and the plants out of the aero machine and set next to the tub so as not to damage the sensitive roots. For a small increase in cost, growers can also utilize expanded clay grow rock in the net baskets for added plant support, and stability. Aeroponics is one of the fastest plant cultivation methods to grow vegetables, herbs, flowers and houseplants due to the high level of dissolved oxygen to the root zone. Plants will achieve an increase in water and nutrient uptake over conventional soil gardening methods. Soil tends to bind up crucial minerals and therefore plants tend to expend a lot of energy pulling the minerals away from the positive ions such as clay in the soil. With aeroponics the cation (positively charged ion) exchange is neutral for optimum nutrient uptake and accelerated growth. For indoor hydrogardening applications American Agritech recommends a metal halide or high-pressure sodium lighting system depending on plant variety, stage of growth and plant cultivation methods, ranging from 100 watts for the Aero 4, 150 watts for the Aero 6 and 250-400 watts for the Aero 9. Includes instruction manual, reservoir, pump, net pots and rootguards. Neoprene inserts, which must beordered separately, can be used in place of the rootguards. Use with Power Clone, Woods, Dip N Grow, or Hormex. A Biological Fungicide is also recommended such as RootShield. |
